Second Reformed Church is now named “College Avenue Community Church”

Our Mission

The mission of the College Avenue Community Church is to be a community of Christians called by God to be a living witness to God’s saving grace in Jesus Christ through proclaiming God’s word, living as a community of Christ’s disciples, caring for and nurturing one another, developing the talents and resources God has given, engaging in mission to the people among whom God has placed us, new life in Jesus Christ.

A Home Away From Home

Located in the heart of the College Avenue campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, we are a missional congregation that focuses on the needs and care of young adults away from their home spiritual communities.  If you have young men or women attending Rutgers University and would like them to have a spiritual “Home away from Home” on the university campus, please send us their names and contact information or refer us to them and suggest they check us out.  We are always eager to see RCA youth continue to grow and mature in the healthy and wholesome atmosphere of a congregation that believes a lively faith in Jesus Christ is important and crucial to any educational experience.
